What are the benefits of massage?
Everyone knows that massage therapy will relax you, but you may not know what other benefits it can have. Massage therapy will help lower heart rate, increase circulation, loosen and relax muscles, and ease insomnia. Most people find benefits far beyond lowering stress, especially with regular treatments, usually every four to six weeks.
What should I expect during a massage therapy treatment at the Oasis Spa?
Our therapists will take a medical history specific to your massage treatment, to include any areas where you feel discomfort, tension and sensitivity. We then tailor a massage to your specific needs. You are encouraged to disrobe to your level of comfort and are given a robe and spa slippers to wear while you are in the spa and Roman Bath area. Each treatment includes use of our Roman Bath Lounge area and whirlpool.
How early should I arrive for my treatment?
We request 5-10 minutes ahead of your scheduled appointment time to allow you an opportunity to fill out the health history form and change into a robe. Please remember that a late arrival will determine the length of your treatment.
What happens after my massage?
It is recommended that you drink more water after a massage, in order to cleanse the body of the metabolic wastes that have been worked out from your treatment. We offer cold water as well as hot tea to keep you well hydrated while you enjoy our Roman Bath. Include access to our steam room for only $10 more.
What is the difference between the Sauna and the Steam Room?
Our Sauna features a cedar wood interior with seating for you to relax in a dry heat. Our Steam Room is a bright tiled room that offers a luxurious moist, steam-heat.
Can I bring a camera or cell phone into the spa?
While we do allow photos, we ask that you be considerate of other guests. We do not allow cell phones, please turn them off or the volume to vibrate.
What about my jewelry or valuables?
If possible, you should leave them in a secure location. Lockers will be available for spa guest use, however we are not responsible for any lost or stolen belongings.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
As long as you cancel 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment you will not be charged. We do charge for any appointments not met.
